Camping again this weekend, went trotting off into the hills but didn't get too far. It was well below zero, and we were very unprepared - but it was still good fun.

Looking like one hell of an adventure you gotcha self there fella, whats with painting and the lack of decals on the bike fell out with Thorn already? Wouldn't blame ya mind every time i've been in there they have been most unhelpful and not very intrested in peoples adventures or sponsering, strange really. Good luck with your journey if you ever do escape the delights of Bridgwater! Greg Nicholls
Cheers for the comment, I sprayed the bike because I don't want to advertise that it's a Thorn (I don't really care to be honest) and I like to personalise (ruin?) al of my gear. But I agree, their customer service definately leaves something to be desired, bar myself of course!! ;)
Nice loyal comment there Kyle, lets hope your employer doesn't read this stuff! Personally, i've always had fantastic service from SJSC, granted the boss is very to the point, perhaps even on occasions blunt, but hey, good advice is worth a lot!
I've bought bikes from them since I was a teenager, 2 cannondales, 2 thorn tandems, and an expedition bike, think this says a lot. Good luck with your adventure!
It's not that I'm disloyal, it is just a job, and I think a lot of things could be improved. I mainly sprayed my bike so that people don't know it's a Thorn for all the wrong reasons (eg: theft) SJSC certainly know what they are talking about when it comes to bikes, but there is a definate bias in their thinking!
(end of rant)
I hear Bicycle chain are recruiting....
Ha ha, bugger that! Bridgwater has seen the last of me!
