If life is what you make it, its time to build...
I was hit from behind by a truck on a 'b' road in Croatia roughly three months ago, hence my sporadic blog posts. Unfortunately it has brought my trip to an abrupt halt. I was unconscious for a week and in a Zagreb hospital for three weeks before being flown home. Physically I will be fine - given enough time - hopefully by January 16th 2009, as this is the date I plan to get myself back on the road.

Shame to hear about your recent misfortunes! Have been checking your page frequently and hoped you were in some far flung place having an awesome time. Hope you have a speeding recovery and get back on the bike as soon as.

Sorry to hear about your accident - you don't know me but as a keen cyclist who cycled london to istanbul last year I have enjoyed checking your blog. For me, the worst drivers were in serbia, where i was also knocked off by a truck, but was lucky enough to escape with a scraped knee. hope you get back on the bike soon.
